Even if I do say so myself I was more than happy with our first breakfast meeting for 2005. We had a reasonably good rollup with everyone dressed in their Sunday best.

We had several guests, not the least of which was Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan, with three of troops; Superintendents Kim Porter, Duane Bell, Senior Sergeant "Jock" Robertson and Trudi Angwin from the Office of Crime Prevention out of the Premier's office.

The venue was excellent as was the food and service, you will have noticed, I hope, we kept the costs as low as possible.

The Commissioner spoke well and he also assisted in the presentation of a life membership to Joe Di Giorgio.

Joe is away on a long earned holiday so his long time friend Mike Dyer did the honours in his absence along with our three other life members Terry Rowcroft, Terry Banks and Geoff Herron.

All in all a great morning and thanks for all of you that made the effort to attend.
