Supporting the battle against underpaying and unlicensed security companies.

Underpaying workers and non-compliance has led The Fair Work Ombudsman to take action against Statewide Security (WA) P/L and its Director Richard Clayton.

The Security Agents Institute of Western Australia (SAIWA) applauds the recent action by the Fair Work Ombudsman in respect to the Clarkson security company.

According to SAIWA Executive Member Sean Cooper, it is reassuring that the FWO is working hard to eliminate issues of underpayment and compliance in our industry.

Security agents and security companies across WA are working hard in times of high demand and are impacted by any operator who does not meet full compliance and regulations.

Issues of compliance, using unlicensed security and underpayment of staff are issues that continue to be weeded out of the industry and it is heartening to see that the FWO is proactive in ensuring compliance.
